Welcome to the Novato Mother's Club

The Novato Mothers Club (NMC) was formed in Novato, California in July of 1993 to provide mothers with a supportive, nurturing environment, knowledge through shared experiences, friendship, and activities.

We’re a member-led support group with activities geared toward families with children of all ages. Our 200+ members participate in activities and events year-round, and are encouraged to volunteer and share their ideas and talents. Our goal is to enrich families and provide a sense of community that is inclusive and open to all.

Joining the NMC is a great way to meet other families in town and to be active in the community. Novato is a wonderful place to live and raise a family, and we strive to offer many opportunities to make the most of it for both you and your children.

We need to support each other now more than ever. During normal times, NMC offers playgroups, family events and holiday parties, Mom’s Night Out events (including the biggest event of the year, Mother’s Social), in addition to our annual Rummage Sale. We also engage with our members through our Facebook page, quarterly newsletters, virtual forums and online events.

During the pandemic, we’ve shifted our focus to prioritize activities such as:

  • Virtual Mom’s Night In events (online spa dates, cooking and art classes)

  • Virtual events for kids

  • Virtual Preschool and Early Education Fair

  • Supporting local, member-owned businesses with our Mommy’s List

  • Delivering meals to new mothers

  • Age-grouped virtual or socially-distanced playdates
