NMC is Fundraising!

Pizza with a cause? Yep – that is how we kicked off our fundraising for 2016! Red Boy Pizza in Ignacio offered us an incredible three day dine and donate with 15% of the proceeds going to the NMC. Families, playgroups and friends gathered to take advantage of the delicious pizza, great salad and fun playroom!! The little ones got to play and romp while adults were able to enjoy some food and conversation, all while supporting our wonderful club!

After all was said and done we raised close to $70 for our pizza eating efforts and made a new connection with another wonderful local business!!

What is perfect after pizza? Frozen yogurt of course! During our (amazing) Rummage Sale we were able to sell Tuttimelon Gift Certificates. The owner of Tuttimelon generously offered us the cards at a discount allowing us to earn a profit for each one we sold. After two rounds of sales we have made over $200 for the NMC! I cant wait to see kids, big and small, filling up their cups with the delicious (and relatively healthy) Tuttimelon frozen yogurt and loading it up with yummy toppings, or better yet ordering one of their amazing gelatos! Maybe a meet up spot for your next playgroup??? Head out and support this wonderful, generous local business!

On March 18th we had double header – a shop AND dine and donate! Two more of our fabulous local business partnered with us to offer opportunities to raise money for the NMC. First it was shopping and crafts at 5 Little Monkeys. Members were invited to shop and receive a 10% discount with another 5% given back to the club. While parents were busy filling baskets with Easter goodies and presents kids were kept occupied with painting and airplane decorating at the crafts table. Fun and productive (especially with the great gift wrapping)! This incredible shopping venture put close to another $60 in the NMC account!

After an exhausting shopping trip what’s better than some amazing Irish Pub food at Finnegans with 15% of all proceeds going back to the mothers club!!?? That’s right, nothing! We got to walk across the street for dinner and fun at Marin’s most kid friendly restaurant and, boy, did we put them to the test. Toddler mayhem, moving outside, inside and back outside again with 20 people, ordering with no rhyme or reason, changing orders and moving seats before the wait staff had a chance to find us with our goodies.   The cheerful, helpful staff continued to be sure we had just what we wanted and did it with smile and cheer. What a fun night! And the best part – we have $150 to show for it!!

In April the craziness that is the NMC descended upon Rebounderz Indoor Trampoline Park for a private event. The park opened its doors just for our members and invited guests for two hours of jump time. Kids of all ages, as well as adults, jumped, bounced, played and ran until they could jump no more.   Not only did Rebounderz open their doors just for us, they gave us 25% of the profits from the event helping us rack in over $250!!
